The foundation has handed a three-story building with 18 rooms to the school management committee amid a special ceremony today.

Inaugurating the newly constructed building, Um Hong-Gil, a founder member, said,  “As many as 15 buildings have been constructed at the financial assistance of Um Hong-Gil Human Foundation across the country. This is a token of love, not the aid. Read well and teach well. We keep assisting this school in the future, too.”

The fund had been raised from the pocket money of 30,000 students of Daegu Metropolitan City.

It is estimated that around Rs 30 million will be required for the construction while Rs 20 million has already been spent.

“We will supply teachers from Korea for the quality education of the school. We will also take an excellent student and teacher from primary, lower secondary and secondary level each to Korea for the observation of Korean educational system.”
