KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party, has questioned where the money to distribute the bonus to the loss-making Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) employees came from.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, he asked where the money for distributing the bonus to NOC employees, which has always been in losses, came from.

He said, “This oil corporation does business by itself, imports by itself, and regulates itself. Also [it] provides a bonus to its employees, and says that it is in loss. If it runs on automatic pricing, why doesn't it reduce the price for two days when the price drops?”
