KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Young Nepali cricket sensation Sandeep Lamichhane started his Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) stint taking two wickets, but could not help his side Sylhet Sixers avoid a defeat on Sunday. Comilla Victorians defeated Sixers by four wickets.
At the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Lamichhane claimed two wickets of Shoaib Malik and Anamul Haque giving away 16 runs in his four-over spell.
Earlier, Victorians won the toss, elected to field first and was given a target of 128 runs for the loss of eight overs in the allotted 20 overs by Sixers. In reply, Victorians scored 130 runs for the loss of six wickets in 19.5 overs.

Nicholas Pooran hit the highest 41 runs off 26 balls including two sixes and five fours for Sixers, while Alok Kapali and Afif Hossain scored 19 runs each. Likewise, captain David Warner hit 14 runs for the team.
Mahedi Hasan, Mohammad Shahid and Mohammad Saifuddin picked up two wickets each for Victorians, while Shahid Afridi pocketed a wicket.
In reply, Afridi hit the highest 39 runs off 25 deliveries with two sixes and five fours, while Tamim Iqbal scored 35 runs. Steven Smith and Malik hit 16 and 13 runs respectively.
Other than Lamichhane, Al-Amin Hossain claimed two wickets, while Mohammad Irfan took one.
