Land ownership certificates distributed in Tilottama

BUTWAL, Jan 6: Land ownership certificates have been distributed to 110 landless households in Tilottama Municipality of Rupandehi.

BUTWAL, Jan 6: Land ownership certificates have been distributed to 110 landless households in Tilottama Municipality of Rupandehi.


Ramkrishna Khand, mayor of Tilottama, handed the land ownership certificates to 35 households from ward no.15 and 75 households from ward no.17 of the municipality amid an event organized in Gangolia.

According to Mayor Khand, the distribution of land ownership certificates has brought great relief to the locals who had been facing troubles due to the lack of land ownership certificates for years. He said that within the next two years, the problem of landlessness in these wards of the municipality will be solved. 


Sugrib Yadav, chief of the Survey Office, Bhairahawa, added the distribution of land ownership certificates to landless people in the villages of all local units of the district is being carried out.
