Landslide disrupts Bensisahar-Chame road
The incessant rain since last night caused a landslide blocking the road traffic. The road section has witnessed frequent landslides since last year. It may be noted that the flood and landslides that occurred last August had taken away the road section at Deurali Danda.
Following frequent disruptions on the road, an alternative route has been developed along the road section through a forest. Floods and landslides had also swept away the route and another alternative road was brought into operation.
Repeated disruptions of the road have hit the passengers traveling through alternative routes as well. Passengers traveling to and from Besisahar are facing troubles due to traffic disruptions.
