A team from the temporary police post-Ketuke has been deputed to clear the landslide debris. Following the highway disruption, vehicles en route to Kathmandu and eastern Terai districts from Okhaldhunga and neighboring Solukhumbu have been left stranded at Milanchowk, Ramailodanda, of Okhaldhunga.
The incessant rains have caused increasing risk for movement on rural roads in the district. Most of the rural roadways in the district have currently remained inoperative owing to monsoon impacts.
