Megh Bahadur's family was living in a makeshift hut after last year's earthquakes destroyed their house.

According to locals, landslides started from 150 meters above their shelter. Locals informed that Bimala Tamang sustained injuries while she was fleeing the landslides.

Chief of the DPO, Krishna Prashad Adhikari informed that landslides have obstructed the Syaphru-Rasuwagadhi road. Due to the landslides, transportation to Kathmandu from Dhunche and Syaphru remain obstructed.

“We are working to clear the obstructions at the earliest,” added Chief District Officer Adhikari.
