Leader Nepal calls on President and Prime Minister of Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU, July 6: Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, who is on a visit to Sri Lanka, met with the President and the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, July 6: Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, who is on a visit to Sri Lanka, met with the President and the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka on Wednesday.


During the meeting held at the residence of Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, various aspects of the relations between the two countries were discussed, according to the Personal Secretariat of leader Nepal.

Similarly, Chairman Nepal also held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dinesh Gunawardena, on Wednesday evening. During the meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence, the friendly relations between the two countries and the developments in Asian countries were discussed.


Nepal left for Sri Lanka on Monday to participate in the 80th Foundation Day celebrations of the Sri Lankan Communist Party and to attend the meeting of the Communist Parties of South Asia.
