KATHMANDU, June 8: Leapfrog Technology, a software development company, has concluded its Women's Internship Program.


The program aimed to provide aspiring female software engineers with valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and an opportunity to grow their skills in a supportive environment. The internship program concluded on Thursday, which witnessed the onboarding of 12 talented interns, according to a statement issued by the company.

The Women's Internship Program at Leapfrog Technology spanned six weeks from April 27 to June 8, 2023, during which the interns delved into the world of software engineering, engaged in meaningful discussions about the internship experience, familiarized themselves with the company’s culture, and embarked on an incredible journey of professional growth.


Under the guidance of experienced mentors, the interns actively participated in various activities, including learning programming skills, collaborating on assignments, and gaining practical exposure to real-world projects. Throughout the program, they were encouraged to explore their potential, sharpen their technical abilities, and develop essential problem-solving skills.


“We are immensely proud of the dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by our interns during their time with us. The Women's Internship Program at Leapfrog Technology is designed to empower aspiring software engineers and equip them with the necessary skills to thrive in the industry,” the statement quoted Software Engineer Simran Panthi, one of the trainers involved in the program, as saying.


The statement mentioned that the interns had the opportunity to work closely with mentors who provided guidance, support, and invaluable insights into the software engineering field. The program aimed to foster an inclusive and empowering environment, enabling the interns to gain confidence, unlock their potential, and pave the way for future success.
