Left Alliance sweep Rolpa polls

ROLPA, Dec 10: The Left alliance has won in all election tiers in the district. CPN (Maoist Center)’s Barshaman Pun won the House of Representatives election with 40,647 votes. Pun defeated Amar Singh Pu of Nepali Congress.

ROLPA, Dec 10: The Left alliance has won in all election tiers in the district. CPN (Maoist Center)’s Barshaman Pun won the House of Representatives election with 40,647 votes. Pun defeated Amar Singh Pu of Nepali Congress.

In both provincial election, the left alliance showed its strength. In Province 1 (A and B) Kul Prasad KC of CPN-MC and Dipendra Kumar Pun won with 18,512 and 24,490 votes respectively. Both candidates defeated Nepali Congress’s Sher Bahadur Mahara and Khagendra Prakash Hamal.
