Lekhak stresses timely elections

BAITADI, Nov 7: Country will fall in danger unless elections are held within a year, said Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Minister Ramesh Lekhak. “Constitutional complications will arise if the national, provincial and local elections could not be held by 21 January 2018,” said Minister Lekhak.

“The document of constitution is flexible and can be amended,” said Minister Lekhak, who attended the political meeting in Baitadi during a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union, Baitadi.


The country's seventh province, in which Baitaid lies, is rich in water resources and can be developed into the richest province, said Lekhak.
