Just a matter of days ago, Cheryl excited her fanbase by announcing her return to music with two ‘upbeat tracks’ set for October, which ends a four-year break from the industry.
Liam seemed determined to switch the focus to his own music with a series of tweets promising the release of his single on 24 August. He accompanied the announcement by three blank Instagram posts. Earlier this week, he penned a note to fans to explain that songs that felt like they were from ‘another age’ have been replaced by ‘songs that truly represent me’ in light of the events in the last few months.
