DADELDHURA, Jan 22: A person died after being struck by lightning in Dadeldhura district today.
The deceased has been identified as Harka Bahadur Thapa, 30, of Alital rural municipality-3.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Dambar Bahadur KC, said Thapa died on the spot after being struck by lightning. The incident took place when he was sitting at his home.
Similarly, two others were injured after being struck by lightning at Alital rural municipality-5. They are Man Bahadur Bista and Gomati Bista. Both the injured have been taken to Seti Zonal Hospital, Dhangadhi, for treatment, said police.
