Lalitpur metropolis to administer second dose of Pfizer vaccine to students for five days

LALITPUR, Feb 1: The Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) is administering the second dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine starting Thursday.

LALITPUR, Feb 1: The Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) is administering the second dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine starting Thursday. 


Students between the ages of 12 and 17 who have previously taken the first dose of Pfizer will be given a second dose from February 3 to 8. According to LMC, the vaccination campaign will be carried out from 10:30 AM to 4 PM.

Students have been requested to go to the schools which the LMC had earlier designated as vaccination centers.  


Issuing a statement, Ganesh Aryal, chief administrator of LMC said, On February 3, vaccination will be made available in schools located in Wards 1 to 4. 


Schools in wards from 5 to 8 on February 4, wards from 9 to 14 and a few schools of ward 15 on February 6 will serve as vaccination centers. 


Similarly, LMC has designated schools in wards 15 to 21 to provide vaccines to students on February 7 while schools in wards 22 to 29 on February 8.
