They have stated that since all the preparations have been completed and the project has already entered the implementation stage it should be expedited on time. Arguing that the project is linked with the future of Bhotkhola residents and all locals in Sankhuwasabha, the council has drawn the attention of the government to ensure speedy construction of the project after meeting the demands of the local residents.

As there are many doubts regarding the implementation of the project, the Advisory Council urged the government to make meaningful efforts immediately. The body also suggested that it would be appropriate for the Nepal government to build the project.

The World Bank has committed to invest in the project that is expected to generate 1,63 MW hydropower. While receiving the memorandum, Prime Minister Oli said that the government will take meaningful initiatives for the smooth implementation of the project.
