Local election date will be announced within mid February: State Minister Jabegu

MORANG, Jan 16: State Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Sri Prasad Jabegu, today claimed that the date for the local level elections will be announced in full consensus within mid February.

MORANG, Jan 16: State Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Sri Prasad Jabegu, today claimed that the date for the local level elections will be announced in full consensus within mid February. 


At an interaction program held by Urlabari Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Urlabari, Morang, State Minister Jagebu said the country has now embarked towards the goal of holding elections with the presentation of the constitution amendment bill at the Parliament.

The election date will be announced in agreement among maximum number of parties, State Minister Jabegu added. He also assured of a special effort in constructing a road stretch linking Rabi locality in Paanchthar with Urlabari via Madhumalla. 


On the occasion, Urlabari Chamber's President, Chandra Bahadur Bhattarai, apprised the state minister of the problems faced by industrialists and businessmen in Urlabari. RSS
