KATHMANDU, March 5: The World Economic Forum (WEF) has announced the list of 90 change-makers to join its Young Global Leaders Community. These individuals, all under 40 years old, represent diverse sectors of society.
According to a press statement issued by the World Economic Forum, Lokesh Todi, chairman of Avasar Equity and Director of Reliance Group Nepal, is among the 90 leaders selected in the World Economic Forum’s latest list of ‘Young Global Leaders’.

“I am truly humbled by this honor and I am looking forward to working with my fellow Young Global Leaders to make a positive impact on our society,” the statement quotes Lokesh Todi as saying.
The statement reads, “As part of the three-year leadership development program, the Young Global Leaders Class of 2024 will have access to a range of executive education courses, learning journeys and opportunities to collaborate with trusted peers to support them in accelerating their impact.”
“As we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Forum of Young Global Leaders, we are thrilled to welcome our newest cohort of Young Global Leaders. They represent the future of leadership, and we are confident that their perspectives and innovative ideas will contribute significantly to addressing the world’s most pressing challenges,” the statement further quotes Ida Jeng Christensen, Head of the Forum of Young Global Leaders.
Past Young Global Leaders from Nepal include Aashmi Rana, Nirvana Chaudhary, Tshering Lama, Ashutosh Tiwari, Pradip Pariyar and Nepali Congress (NC) leader and lawmaker Gagan Thapa.
