LSP decides not to give trust vote to PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, March 12: The Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) has decided not to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

KATHMANDU, March 12: The Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) has decided not to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.


The parliamentary party meeting of the LSP held yesterday decided to vote against the current government led by PM Dahal, affirming its role as the opposition in parliament.

Also, the LSP has decided to vote for the Nepali Congress candidate in the upcoming National Assembly Speaker election. The Nepali Congress has fielded Yuvraj Sharma as its candidate for the post of Chairperson of the National Assembly. Elections to this coveted post are slated for today. 


LSP holds one seat in the National Assembly and four seats in the House of Representatives.
