LSP to give vote of confidence to PM Oli

KATHMANDU, July 18: Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) has decided to give the vote of confidence to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

KATHMANDU, July 18: Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) has decided to give the vote of confidence to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. 


A parliamentary party meeting of the LSP presided over by its chair Mahantha Thakur decided to give the vote of confidence to the prime minister, party's chief whip Ram Prakash Chaudhary said.

LSP leader Sharad Singh Bhandari has been appointed as the Minister for Labour and Employment.  


The LSP, which supported the Oli-led government, has four lawmakers in the House of Representatives (HoR). PM Oli is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence in the parliament on July 21 as per the Constitution of Nepal. 


President Ram Chandra Paudel on last Sunday had appointed Oli as the Prime Minister as per the Article 76 (2) of the Constitution.
