KATHMANDU, April 4: Chief Minister (CM) of Lumbini, Dil Bahadur Chaudhary, is set to resign from his position on Thursday evening.
According to sources, CM Chaudhary has decided to tender his resignation after failing to receive the vote of confidence from the political parties in the provincial assembly.

From the new ruling coalition, CPN (Maoist Center) province parliamentary party leader Jokh Bahadur Mahara has garnered the support to claim a majority to form a new government.
According to sources, CM Chaudhary is expected to announce his resignation during the Province Assembly meeting scheduled for Thursday at 4 PM.
