KATHMANDU, Oct 3: In an effort to champion sustainability and environmental consciousness, the Lumbini World Peace Forum, in partnership with Tokha Municipality and Jyoti Bikash Bank, organized a "Tree Plantation Drive" on Saturday, September 30th, in Chandeshwari, Tokha-2, Kathmandu.

The event witnessed enthusiastic volunteers from Lumbini World Peace Forum and Tokha-2, coming together to plant 200 Bay Leaf plants (Tejpatta) in a designated public space earmarked for park development. This initiative, a key facet of the “1 Million Trees Plantation and Conservation Drive,” underscores the collective vision of Lumbini World Peace Forum towards fortifying green cover to combat climate change and foster a more sustainable future.
