JANAKPUR, June 28: Madhesh Province Chief Minister (CM) Satish Singh is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence on July 5. According to the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, CM Singh plans to seek a vote of confidence from the province assembly within the specified date.
Initially, CM Singh intended to seek the trust vote earlier, but the process was delayed due to the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party's general convention. He explained that lawmakers from the Unified Socialist Party requested him not to seek a trust vote before July 4, leading to the decision to seek the vote of confidence on July 5.
