Mahato warns of fresh protest

ITAHARI, Oct 29: Chairman of Sadhbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato on Saturday said that the constitution should be implemented only after amending it.

ITAHARI, Oct 29: Chairman of Sadhbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato on Saturday said that the constitution should be implemented only after amending it.


 He was of the opinion that implementing the constitution sans amendment will results in loss of achievements earned through different movements.

“No one should let the achievement earned by general public get lost,” said Mahato at a press meet organized in Sunsari, “Major parties should be aware for that.”


He warned of launching a fresh agitation in the constitution amendment proposal is not presented at the parliament before Chhath festival.


“The proposal should be tabled at the parliament before Chhath,” he said, “Disputes over boundaries of the provinces should be settled through a change in the constitution.”
