Singer Mallika Karki released her second album titled ‘Mausam’. She released her first album, ‘Mallika’ in 2065. Singer Karki said “The album comprises of five romantic songs. I hope the audience will like my songs.”
Karki hails from Morang and stepped into the music industry in 2061. She gained appreciation from the audience through the songs like Laajko Laali’, ‘Yeti Dherai Manche Haru Ko Bhid Maa’, ‘Timile Nasamjhida Maya’, Aakhai Ma Rakhu Ki’ and ‘Kasari Kasari Aayou’. Karki has sung duets with prominent singers of including Udit Narayan Jha, Kumar Sanu, Rajesh Payal Rai and Kumar Kancha. Karki is felicitated with different awards like Kalika Music Award, Bindabasini Music Award, Image Award, Sagarmatha Music Award and Music Khabar Award.
