MAKWANPUR, Feb 24: A man was killed in a wild elephant attack at Bakaiya Rural Municipality-5 in Makawanpur district on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as local resident Janak Lal Majhi, 50. He died while undergoing treatment at Hetauda Hospital at around 11 pm, according to Inspector Balaram Shrestha.

The incident took place when he stepped outside toward a loafing shed at around 9 pm, he added.
