NAWALPARASI, May 2: A person died on the spot after a truck knocked him down at Madhyabindu along the East-West highway in Nawalparasi district today.
A truck (registration number Na 6 Kha 3779) coming from the East hit 40-year-old Sagar Pokharel, a resident of Madhyabindu, who was pushing a cart, killing him instantaneously, police stated.
The incident took place near the Arunkhola bridge in Madhyabindu Municipality -11, police said. Police has taken the truck driver and the truck under control. RSS
