'Many people still deprived of citizenship due to negative psyche of govt'

KATHMANDU, Aug 2:  Parliamentarian Hridayesh Tripathi flayed the government saying that it has not been doing dillydally in providing citizenship to many people.


Speaking at a parliament meeting in New Baneshwar on Thursday, Tripathi said that so many people have still been deprived of citizenships due to negative attitude of the ruling party despite having constitutional provisions.

Likewise, Parwati DC Chaudhary also criticized the government for its slackness in carrying out its duties and responsibilities. It has been a mute spectator on the woes the people are facing due to natural disasters.


Similarly, lawmakers have also raised the issue of security concerns saying that they are also not safe. They are facing life threats, yet the government has been helpless in tackling this issue.


“How can the people in general be safe when lawmakers themselves are not safe?,” he inquired.
