According to the Standing Committee member, Dev Gurung, the meeting discussed the laws, ordinance and legal cases that are pending the final verdict in the Supreme Court to give a full shape to the cabinet. The expansion of the cabinet will move forward after taking into account the legal complications related to the court.

The meeting also made decisions regarding the change of schedules for activities focused on the party’s general convention. They also decided to extend the deadline set earlier for the renewal of the party's membership. The party has scheduled the ward level convention for October 30 and municipality level convention for November 20.

The dates for the party’s provincial convention and national convention have not been changed. The CPN (Maoist Center) has decided  to hold their national convention from December 26 to 28.
