KATHMANDU, Feb 9: The CPN (Maoist Center) has maintained the old division of responsibilities in the party. According to which, Janardan Sharma has been retained as the head of the organization department of the party, while Barshaman Pun has been given continuity as the head of finance and central office. Both are deputy secretaries general of the party.
In the ranking, after party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal , Narayankaji Shrestha is the senior vice chairman and Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Agni Prasad Sapkota, Pampha Bhusal are the vice chairpersons. General Secretary Dev Prasad Gurung is followed by Deputy General Secretary Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Barshaman Pun, Haribol Gajurel, Janardan Sharma, Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Matrika Prasad Yadav.

Barshman Pune has been holding the responsibility of Finance and Planning Department Head since 21 October 2021 and Janardan Sharma has been holding the responsibility of Organization Department Head. As the convention did not make a decision, both the leaders were performing their respective roles.
Accordingly, in the meeting of the Standing Committee, Deputy General Secretary Janardan Sharma, as the Head of the Organization Department, reported with proposals related to the organization. Another Deputy Secretary General, Girirajmani Pokharel, as the head of the schooling department, presented a report on the curriculum prepared by the school department.
