KATHMANDU, July 19: Three opposition parties, including the CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and CPN (Unified Socialist), have decided to vote against Prime Minister KP Oli’s vote of confidence.
The decision was made during a meeting attended by Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, and RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane.

“We have decided not to support Oli’s confidence vote on Sunday,” Maoist Center’s Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun said after the meeting, adding, “We have reached a conclusion that forming a government under Article 76 (2), instead of Article 76 (3), is unconstitutional.”
PM Oli is scheduled to seek a confidence vote in the House of Representatives on Sunday.
