Maoist Center Standing Committee meeting begins

KATHMANDU, August 2: The meeting of the Standing Committee of the ruling CPN (Maoist Center) has started at the party's central office Paris Danda.

KATHMANDU, August 2: The meeting of the Standing Committee of the ruling CPN (Maoist Center) has started at the party's central office Paris Danda.


According to the leaders of the party, the meeting discussed the Central Committee meeting which will start from today in Kathmandu. The meeting will finalize the political and organizational documents to be submitted to the Central Committee.

Party Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal presented political and organizational proposals at the Central Committee meeting being held at Nepal Pragya Pratishthan in Kamaladi. All the central members will present their opinions on the said proposal. According to the leaders of the Maoist Center, 758 people including 385 full central members, 198 alternate central members, 75 members of three commissions and 100 provincial officials of the party will participate in the meeting.
