KATHMANDU, Dec 24: The meeting of CPN (Maoist Center) Standing Committee is underway at the party office in Parisdanda.
According to the party, the meeting has been called to discuss the political document to be presented at the national convention of the party.

Preparations are being made to complete the political report prepared by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' by incorporating suggestions given by the members of the Standing Committee.
The National Convention of the Maoist Center is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from December 26.
