Maoist Vice Chairman Mahara admitted to Norvic Hospital

KATHMANDU, March 19: Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the vice-chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) and former speaker, who was arrested in connection with the gold smuggling case, has been admitted to Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.

KATHMANDU, March 19: Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the vice-chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) and former speaker, who was arrested in connection with the gold smuggling case, has been admitted to Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.

According to Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) SP and Spokesperson Hobindra Bogati, Mahara was admitted to Norvic Hospital following an order from the District Court Kathmandu, which directed his admission due to his illness.


District Court Kathmandu granted the police a 4-day custody extension for Mahara and ordered his hospitalization due to his health condition.
