Martyr's Memorial A-Division League 7th phase games to start from Friday

KATHAMANDU, Jan 16: Seventh phase matches under the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League are set to start from Friday. Organised by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the venue for the matches is Dasharath Stadium at Tripureshwor.

KATHAMANDU, Jan 16: Seventh phase matches under the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League are set to start from Friday. Organised by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the venue for the matches is Dasharath Stadium at Tripureshwor.


Under the competition, Machhindra Football Club will take on Himalayan Sherpa Club in an opening match slated to take place at 3 pm on Friday. So far Machhindra Football Club is placed in first position with 13 points from previous four matches. Out of them, it won four and played a draw in two.

Likewise, Himalayan Sherpa Club is ranked 13th with four. Tribhuvan Army Club is placed in second with 13, while Manang Marsyangdi Club in third with 12. Three Star Club is ranked fourth with 10, Jaulakhel Club fifth with nine, New Road Team sixth with eight, Nepal Police Club seventh with eight and Sankata Club eighth with eight.


Brigade Boys Club is placed in ninth position with seven, Chasal Youth Club in tenth with six, Armed Police Force in 11th with five, Friends Club in 12th with five and Saraswati Yuba Club in last 14th with one.
