He wrote, "When the American ambassador tried to meet with us several times, we instead asked him to come with permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and we gave him permission to meet only after he came with permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."

Mayor Shah has said that he has no desire to seek help from foreigners. The envoy came with a proposal to help us financially, but we have sent him a message saying that we will help build a temple or Pati Pauwa that reflects Nepali civilization in America. And instead of selling electricity to foreigners through MCC, we have expressed the opinion that economic progress should be made by using that electricity in Nepal," he wrote.
