KATHMANDU, July 10: A meeting of the Bagmati Province Assembly to discuss the budget presented by the provincial government that was scheduled for today has been postponed. The Secretariat of the Province Assembly had issued a notice on Wednesday to attend the meeting today.
According to the Secretariat, the meeting will be held on Sunday at 11 AM to discuss the topics regarding the budget presented by the provincial government for the fiscal year 2078/79, to purchase and operate electric buses and media houses. However, the opposition parties have expressed their disagreement by obstructing the Provincial Assembly meeting.
Bagmati Province Assembly meeting postponed for 4 PM today
A member of the ruling party of the Provincial Assembly said that the meeting may have been postponed due to the obstruction.
