KATHMANDU, Sept 22: A meeting of the ruling coalition is being held to discuss the distribution of seats for the upcoming Federal Parliament and provincial assemblies elections.

The top leaders of the alliance along with the members of the task force will participate in the meeting at Baluwatar, the official residence of the Prime Minister.
Although the coalition meeting has been held several times to share the seats, no agreement has been reached so far. Maoists and CPN (United Socialists), which are in the ruling coalition, are in favor of reaching an agreement on the number of seats as soon as possible.
