Mega Bank concludes month-long financial literacy program

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MBNL) has concluded a month-long financial literacy program organized throughout the country.


During one month of mid-August and mid-September, MBNL conducted the financial literacy program through its 37 branch offices in all the seven provinces. The program was targeted at increasing awareness to improve financial skills and prudent decision-making while carrying out financial transactions.

For this purpose, MBNL mobilized its five branch offices each in Madhesh Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and Sudurpashchim Province. Likewise, the bank mobilized its six branch offices in each of Province 1 and Bagmati Province to conduct the program.


The program was aimed at regular income earners, farmers, small entrepreneurs, students, women and remittance-receiving households.
