The commission said that one of the important aspects of ensuring the constitutional right of the people to be informed is that the data or information produced by the state is published with the correct meaning while maintaining the quality.

"Citizens are always expecting accurate information about their interests, their community or the nation, and the state is producing and distributing official statistics by establishing a national statistics system to meet such expectations," a press release issued by the commission said, “Only if the official statistics are accurate and of good quality can we get true information about the various events or facts related to the economic, social and environmental aspects of society and the state. Through this, policies, plans, programs at the local level, provincial or federal level are objective and need-based, and help to meet people's expectations”
