KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has said that homework is being done to purchase an aircraft.
Addressing the 23rd anniversary celebrations of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal on Friday, Minister Ale said that instructions have been given to the Nepal Airlines Corporation to bring a plan to purchase the aircraft as soon as possible. He said that necessary homework has been started already for the purchase of the aircraft.

Stating that he would not play any kind of commission game in the purchase of the aircraft, Minister Ale said that he was ready to hang himself in case of any irregularity. Minister Ale also informed that instructions have been given to repair the grounded aircrafts.
He said that Bhairahawa International Airport would be inaugurated within three months. Minister Ale said that the government wants to bring Bhairahawa airport into operation by carrying out test flights as soon as possible.
