Minister Bhattarai insists on all-side support to make the Visit Nepal Year successful

KAILALI, Sept 14: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has stressed the need for all-side support to make the Visit Nepal Year 2020 successful. 


In his address to a program organised by the Kailali Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his honour on Saturday, the Minister said more and more tourism activities should be conducted to make the Year successful. He urged the private sector to launch tourism promotional programs in neighbouring countries including in India, disseminating the touristic destinations at home and contribute to the tourists' arrivals.

On the occasion, the Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation shared the government plan of establishing a major aviation centre in every state to increase the efficiency of aviation service. A technical team has been already formed and directed to conduct a study about those closed airports in hilly districts of the Sudur Paschim Province and report the present status of them to the government, according to him. 


He called on stakeholders concerned to present the substantive plans at the ministry for the development of tourism in the Far-West. 


He is scheduled to inaugurate the Dolphin Festival to kick off at Tikapur municipality-7 later on Saturday.
