State Minister for Industry Moti Lal Dugar holds meeting with UAE minister, urges to invest in Nepal's hydropower

KATHMANDU, Feb: 16: Moti Lal Dugar, the State Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies held a meeting with Minister for Energy and Industries of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Suhali Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei at the latter's office in UAE on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Feb: 16: Moti Lal Dugar, the State Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies held a meeting with Minister for Energy and Industries of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Suhali Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei at the latter's office in UAE on Sunday.


According to a press release issued by Nepal Embassy in UAE, the ministers discussed about further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.


They also dwelt on to enhancing UAE's investment in Nepal's hydropower, tourism and renewable energy.

In the meeting, Minister Dugar urged the UAE minister to investment in Nepal's agriculture, tourism, hydropower and other sources of energy.


Dugar said that Nepal has been marching ahead towards prosperity and development after the formation of the strong government two years ago.


In response, the UAE minister said that his government is keen to invest in Nepal's hydropower.


Dugar is visiting UAE to attend the EXPO 2020 being organized by the UAE. The state minister also inspected the Nepal Pavilion set up in EXPO 2020.
