The Chinese team involved in the construction has said that the project will be completed in mid-June. After the completion of the project, it will be handed over to the Galchi—Rasuwagadhi Project.

Railing and finishing-related works are being carried out as part of the bridge reconstruction project.

Miteri Bridge at the Rasugadhi is expected to boost trade between Nepal and China under the framework of Belt and Road Initiative and contribute to enhancing the age-old multifaceted relationship between the two countries. The bridge reconstruction project began in September 2018.
