KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has talked with top leaders three major parties over telephone on Thursday evening. Following the result of the elections of House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly, Indian PM held telephone conversation with the leaders.

Indian PM Modi called CPN-UML chairperson KP Sharma Oli at around 5 pm followed by Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Center) chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The telephone conversation has been taken as important as Nepal is waiting for a new government after the majority of the left alliance.
