KATHMANDU, JuLY 23: The Ministry of Forests and Environment (MoFE) has transferred eight joint secretaries working under it. The ministry said that joint secretaries were transferred on Thursday.
Shiva Kumar Wagle, head of the planning, monitoring and coordination division of the ministry, has been transferred to the vacant director general position of the Department of Forest and Soil Conservation. The post of director general was vacant after Devesh Mani Tripathi, the director general of the said department, took compulsory retirement due to age limit. Navaraj Pudasaini, Acting Director General of the department, has been transferred to the Chief of the REED Implementation Center.

Similarly, Sindhu Prasad Dhungana, member secretary of the President Chure-Terai Madhesh Conservation Development Committee, has been transferred to the Director General of the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation. Maheshwar Dhakal, director general of the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation, has been transferred to the National Project Directorate of Chure Resilient Project, while Badri Raj Dhungana, the National Project Director of Chure Resilient Project, has been transferred to the MoFE.
Meghnath Kafle, who is also the spokesperson for the ministry, has been transferred to the post of member-secretary of the President Chure Terai Madhesh Conservation Development Committee, while Ram Chandra Kandel, the chief of the REED Implementation Center, has been transferred to the MoFE.
