This change follows the recent government updates, including Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada's new role as the Economic Adviser to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

An NRB source indicated that Dr Khatiwada has raised some concerns about the policy, necessitating additional discussions. Consequently, the policy will not be published on Friday as planned.

Previously, Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari had intended to announce the policy today following a briefing with Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel.
