MoPIT cancels licenses of 23 construction companies for late renewal

KATHMANDU, July 5: The licenses of 23 construction companies that have not been renewed on time have been revoked.


The Construction Business Promotion Branch under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport (MoPIT) issued a notice on Thursday, saying that the licenses of 23 construction companies had been automatically revoked.

The licenses of 23 construction companies in Kathmandu have been revoked by the Construction Business Promotion Branch under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport for failing to renew on time.


According to the Construction Business Act, the licenses needed to be renewed by mid-March 2024 for the fiscal year 2024/25. 


The affected companies include Future Star Construction, Himalayan Infrastructure Development Company, Bhumi Infrastructure, Madan Construction, Dhorfidi Construction Services, The Rising Construction, Sirohiya Construction, Trishul Construction Services, Srijunga Construction Services, Ghanteshwar Construction Services, Naula Malika Construction Services, Toshe KR Construction Services, Everything Solution Construction, Rupali Construction, Rudra Kumar Kakshapati Construction Services, Emrin Thakur Construction Services, V Con, R Komal Construction, Aman Construction, Radha Krishna Construction Services, Pabitra Multiple Construction, and Florida Construction.
