She said, “I had already removed 41 encroached structures of Bagmati Corridor. Now that the election has come, there was pressure to not do it now and it had to be postponed. After the local level elections, the move began again from May 16, 2022”.

Recently, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has intensified the campaign to remove the illegally-built structures without passing house maps from the metropolis.
