KATHMANDU, August 9: To celebrate its 33rd anniversary, Nabil Bank Limited organized a tree plantation and clean up program along the banks of the Bagmati River in Minbhawan on August 5.
Issuing a statement, the bank said that it had transplanted saplings at the place in July, 2014, as well on the occasion of the bank's 30th anniversary. "Since then, the bank has been continuously maintaining this plantation site," the bank said in the statement, adding that the bank was committed to launching various social welfare scheme under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Under its CSR initiatives, Nabil Bank has been organizing social welfare programs by supporting educational activities, science, and technology, sports, health, literature environment and arts, among others, according to the statement.
