KATHMANDU, Feb 26: A narrow-body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has been grounded in Dubai after the engine of the airplane was found overheated while the Airbus A320-200 was preparing to fly to Kathmandu from Dubai.
The right engine of the airplane with flight number 9N-AKW was found to be overheated and was grounded in Dubai, according to the NAC.

Captain Deepu Jwarchan, a senior pilot of NAC, was supposed to fly the airplane from Dubai to Kathmandu but the flight was aborted after detecting the problem.
The state-owned airline company said it will send its engineering team to resolve the problem in the engine of the grounded airplane.
